Imre Nemes

Imre Nemes DVM graduated as a veterinarian in 1993 from the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest.
In 2004 he obtained diploma as a veterinarian specialized in state veterinary medicine and infectious diseases.
Worked as a practitioner veterinarian from 1994 to 2002, including as a pig farm veterinarian. In 2002 he joined the State Veterinary Service of Hungary.
Since 2019 he has been the technical director of the Hungarian Pig Farmers Association. He is a specialist in the management of pigs’ infectious diseases.
From 2016, he has been the president of the Hungarian Association for Porcine Health Management (HAPHM). President of the National PRRS Eradication Comittee.
